Education Opportunities SWIA promotes educational programs to further enhance the knowledge and competence of business owners. Improve and update your technical and business knowledge by attending the annual convention which features legislative updates, speakers on running an efficient business and other issues, and the opportunity to socialize and network with peers and industry leaders.
Supplier Expo SWIA offers an expo for members to get the latest new product and equipment information from industry suppliers. This expo is held each year during the annual convention.
Expert Team As a special incentive for new members, SWIA will send a team of industry experts at no charge to your facility to offer ideas and suggestions on ways to make your business more profitable.
Industry Publications SWIA members receive a subscription to Ice World Journal, published by the International Packaged Ice Association.
Agency Liaison Through SWIA headquarters in Austin, the association has established good working relations with the agencies that regulate you. Our input is often sought before agency rules are adopted.
ACTIVE MEMBER: Any person , firm or corporation engaged in the production or distribution of ice in any area of the Southwestern United States shall be eligible for Active Membership in this Association. This area is generally defined, but not limited to Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Dues are $225.00 for the first location, and $100.00 for each additional location.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Any person, firm or corporation engaged in supplying services, equipment, or supplies used in the production or distribution of ice shall be eligible for Associate Membership in the Association. Dues are $300.00.

Southwestern United States that is a Satellite location of an
Active Member.

MEMBER - Honorary Membership may be conferred by the Board
of Directors of the Association, upon persons who have rendered
eminent service to the ice industry or this Association.
Honorary Members shall be exempt from dues payments. This
statement is to verify that information provided above is
correct.
